Simple Things Unlock Happiness
A historical day occurred in Washington, DC, when Donald J. Trump returned to the White House after four years. Trump became the first president since Grover Cleveland to be elected for two non-consecutive terms. The Artic Blast didn’t put a freeze on the day Trump longed for, as he has much unfinished business to settle to help restore America’s greatness.
Trump became the second president to take the oath of office in the Capitol Rotunda. The first was Ronald Reagan in 1985. In his address, he stresses the importance of putting God back in America while encouraging all Americans to achieve the impossible.
Trump’s road to the White House for the third time wasn’t easy. He overcame two assassination attempts. One in Butler, PA, just weeks after he defeated Joe Biden in the first Presidential Debate.
"I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country," Trump acknowledged. "My message to Americans today is that it is time for us to once again act with courage, vigor, and the vitality of history’s greatest civilization."
In addition to launching a new era for America, Trump gave thanks to God for sparing him from the assassin's bullet.
Following his inauguration, he became the first president to hold an open rally at Capitol Arena to sign a series of executive orders to undo what Biden did during his four years in office. So far, he has made good on his promise to revive the spiritual need for America. Later, he issued more orders in the Oval Office while tasking questions from reporters for one hour.
Trump is slated to issue 200 executive orders within the first few days of his term addressing the border, weaponization of the FBI, end of DEI programs in government and military, and pardoning political prisoners. So far, those involved with January 6th are in the process of being released.
America will now embark on a new chapter. Catholics can breathe a sigh of relief after enduring fear-mongering, Hitler-like behavior, and absent leadership from the Biden-Harris administration. This new chapter will no doubt bring prosperity for not just Catholic-Americans but for all.
