A Child In The Family
JESUS SAID; I AM in you as you Are In Me
Eileen Renders
This read will begin with a few bible verses and chapters that provide us with hope, trust, and confidence in what God desires to give to His faithful. Some of these beautiful verses are found in John 14-20 In the Catholic bible, Jesus said “I am in you as you are in Me. He also stated, “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.” This verifies The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the three Persons in one God.
Further in John 19: Jesus said; “In a little while the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live. John 20: On that day you will know that I AM in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.” John: 21: Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.”
This is a huge revelation! Keeping Jesus’ Commandments and remaining sin-free ensures us that Christ is living within us. I am in you as you are in Me. Having the deepest relationship with Christ requires keeping His Commandments, and remaining sin-free.
Taking this revelation to the next level, we can expect that this intimate relationship with Christ will strengthen our understanding of Christ, and allow us to feel His inspiring guidance and protection. Needless to say, this is more than we as sinners, deserve. Our creator is loving, forgiving, and merciful.
Cross Reference John: 17-21-23 Jesus said; That all of them may be one, as You, Father are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me, I have given the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one. I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and have loved them just as You have loved Me.
Incredible! Imagine that God could love us as He loves His only son, Jesus Christ!
Let it be said, however, that These promises and this immense love is not coming to us without being subject to conditions. Read on.
Romans 8:10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Corinthians 6-17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in spirit.
Ephesians 3:17 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love.
There is more, but you may read on in your own time. It is important to know, however, that if and when we become one with Christ, we are not any more special as any other living being, it is God who is special; omnipotent, omnipresent, and who created us.
The gifts He gives willingly and freely when we remain sin-free and are in Him, however, are special. We begin to understand His pain, and as His children, how in the past, we have hurt Him through sinfulness. He gives us wisdom, understanding, compassion for our brothers and sisters, a willingness to pray for all who suffer and more. We feel joy, peace, and contentment. God bless you on your journey.
