A Crucible we must be aware of
Be with me Lord…….
The words of Psalm 91 that ring so loudly today; where are the proponents that Jerimiah spoke of regarding the sanctity of the Temple, the Church, the Hope of man at a time of fear during tribulation.
When God called Jerimiah it wasn’t just another prophet to be that shows the Lord’s concern for his people, he shouted out to the people who were going the wrong direction. Under the authority of King Nebuchadnezzar things turned sour and the rule of evil took over the once peaceful nation of Judah. Jerimiah was sent to bring the word of God back and met his death while trying. It was after his death that his words and efforts began to make a difference in the nation.
It is during his time in Judah and the answer to God’s call that history became prominent to God’s kingdom and the eventual presence of the Son of God. Does this sound something like what modern history seems to be repeating what went before us?
Listen again to the words of God to Jerimiah; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.” (Jer 1: 5).
To whom has God called with the same message for our nation that is in dire need of a modern savior? Of course, Jesus Christ is the Savior for humanity and no one will arise to even parallel his Mission. However, we still need prophets who are not predicting the future, but we need speakers, writers, and the many needed souls who will still stand up for righteousness in a world that has gone awry with new-age philosophy that is like Nebuchaneezer in the 21st century.
Keep reminding yourself of the lyrics to the hymn; “Be with me Lord when I am in trouble, be with me Lord I pray.” Psalm 91 goes further than a song of hope; it has become the mantra of a world seeking pleasure before righteousness, wealth before sharing the grace of God with those who have lost their way.
Of course this article may sound familiar to others submitted by me and many other writers who are pleading with so many who misplaced the quest of moral supplications with a thought of hedonistic theories that place man first before the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our position is similar to that of Jerimiah when God called him as a prophet to the nations. We must adhere to becoming dedicated to the message that God has implanted in the abilities each of us have and to share it with the many who might want to ostracize us. You and I may become outsiders to even our family or closest friends when our demeanor appears to be offensive and places our integrity in question.
We are the prophets of change, that is to change from the reversal of what Marxist officials have begun to implant evil intentions in the minds of peaceful loving citizens. We can make a difference; please keep on reaching the many who might pick and read your work.
