Is Leroy Carhart in Hell?
It has been a week since Donald J Trump returned to the Oval Office, yet he went right to work to undo every pro-abortion measure brought about in the last four years under his predecessor. Some of them were a part of his promises on the campaign trail. He wasted no time to keep his word to the American people.
Removed Pro-Abortion Website Established by President Joe Biden
Joe Biden was the epitome of why America needs term limits for all levels of public office, and Catholics can’t profess to be one and support ideas that contradict the faith. One thing Biden did that continued to show how he betrayed pro-lifers and the Catholic Church was the creation of a website that promoted abortion.
The website was taken down after taking the oath as the 47th President of the United States. Some who were searching for it encountered an error message.
Two Genders and Life at Conception
He would also sign an executive order that defines that life begins at conception and that there are only two genders. He continues to put a dagger into the legacy of woke ideology that has been causing confusion and cancer to the American way and even children.
Freed 23 Pro-life Americans
Biden made Jimmy Carter look five times better as president. With his radical agenda while in office, Biden weaponized the justice department to the point of going after political opponents.
One prime example was how he used the FBI to apprehend and convict twenty-three pro-life Americans who were imprisoned for violations of the FACE Act. Trump granted a pardon for those who were wrongfully and unjustly convicted under the Biden Administration.
Enforced Hyde Amendment
Henry Hyde would be proud that the namesake of his amendment rose from the dead in the mere days of Trump’s second term.
“U.S. taxpayers should not be paying for abortions,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “We are grateful that President Trump is committed to preventing taxpayer dollars from being used to pay for the deaths of preborn babies.”
Tobias continued, “Reestablishing the U.S. commitment to protecting life on the international stage restores our role as leaders on this issue. Women in disadvantaged countries want clean water, better health care, a good education, and safety for their kids. Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. response is not going to push to kill their children instead.”
Reinstating Mexico City Policy
When Trump first took office in 2017, he worked to ensure that American taxpayers wouldn’t pay for abortion through their taxes overseas.
He reinstated his landmark EO in his first week back in office.
Video Message During March for Life
President Trump and Vice President JD Vance took part in the recent March for Life in DC. Trump first took part in the annual event before COVID. VP Pence was the first VP to ever address the annual gathering in 2017.
No Right to Abortion
In November 2020, 37 countries signed a pro-life document called the Geneva Consensus Declaration. This declaration states that “there is no international right to abortion, nor any international obligation on the part of States to finance or facilitate abortion.” Biden reversed course upon taking over the country. Then, Trump boldly added America to the list in the first week of his second term.
“The Trump Administration is committed to supporting families, promoting women’s health, and protecting children at all stages of life. The United States will pursue these objectives in cooperation with member states in the UN system and through our continued shared ambition for improved health for women and girls. Investing in women’s health and well-being saves lives, allows women and girls more opportunities, and protects the family as the fundamental unit of society,” wrote Marco Rubio, Secretary of State.
Life is winning again in America. However, there is no question that much work remains to advance the culture of life. While it is great to see a pro-life president back in the White House, the work of pro-lifers continues with many new challenges.
