Take Care

Soon it will be time to sow

The seeds so that they too might grow

Petunias carrots pepper seeds

To make us happy and calm our stomach needs

But first through winters toil

Then will we obtain succulent thawed soil

And then we can ready our plan

To grow this year all we can

But we must assure we’ll have few weeds

They’ll choke up the plants and steal their needs

And watch out where you throw

Those seed on rocks will not grow

Make sure you have plenty of water and sun

The plants don’t like it when they have none

And you’ll have nothing for your effort

For eliminating what they need for support

So too our relationship with Jesus and His Word

We must listen and treasure what He says for He is the Lord

But if we choose not we end up like the seeds that fail

The ones without soil or water or the sun that struggle and flail

But if we take the proper care to read every day

His Word and to Him daily pray

Our seeds will be furrowed just right

To grow big and strong from His Light

Amen
