Charges Against Pro-Life Journalists Dropped

David Daleiden and Sandra Merrit were bold journalists who went undercover to expose Planned Parenthood for harvesting fetal body parts through a black market. They did this through the Human Capital Project, in which they posed as representatives of a company that experiments on human parts.

Their work was leaked and went viral in 2015. Planned Parenthood tried to control the damage brought about by the two journalists. It came through a nearly decade-long prosecution brought about by the state of California and even former VP Kamala Harris, the Attorney General of California at the time.  When she and her colleagues discovered the journalists’ expose, they were outraged to the point of prosecuting them.

“In my 5 decades as an attorney, 40 years of which were as a prosecutor, I have never seen such a blatant exercise of selective investigation and vindictive prosecution. The California Attorneys General who initiated this case and pursued it for nearly 10 years should be ashamed for weaponizing their office to pursue people who were merely exposing illegality associated with the harvesting and sale of fetal body parts,” stated Hon. Steve Cooley, the attorney who led Daleiden’s legal defense team.

After a decade-long battle, both Daleiden and Merrit have overcome every weaponized overreach from the abortion capital of the West Coast.

Daleiden did remark that we “must get to work”.
