We are but a choice away from finding Christ
My Losses are Prayers for poor souls!
The Lord spoke to me saying, “Be thankful you have something to offer.” Have we ever given thought to the need that poor souls in Purgatory seek from us who are the Church Militant which has the ability to extend prayers for their expiation from their time of suffering?
For those who do not consider the probability of the Church Penitent who are in need of God’s call to bring them home purified as metal is cleaned in fire, the possibility that most of us will undergo the same cleansing. Of course, the controversy of many speaking out against this entity are determined to alter the rest of us who follow the Catholic Catechism (articles 1030 - 1031) and do not see this as a punishment for sin; it is a cleansing to ensure holy perfection so we will become perfect (be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect) “So be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Mt 5: 48).
None of us can be explicit enough to tell the rest of us just what purgatory looks like or if there are flames that can burn living humans. A priest said purgatory prepares the soul for a wedding of Christ and his bride, the Church, for a feast pure and ready to be presented to our Father in heaven. We should welcome this opportunity open to those whose ultimate eternity waits for the strength which comes from perfect cleansing that is a welcoming fire of purity.
As I wrote before, my articles on purgatory were published in at least 7 articles and alluded to several others as a follow-up. I am not alone in this since there are a number of authors on this web-site who also have voiced their support for this entity as well. Thank the Holy Spirit for inspiring more than one writer to open the probability of believers to write about it.
To reiterate a past experience I had as a night adorer to the Sacred Heart and the horrible scream at 3 AM. After returning to my prayers with no sign of anyone outside, the Lord spoke to my heart saying, “3 AM is the hour of a lot of evil, the scream came for the depth of hell, and pray for the poor souls in purgatory.” That last demand has stayed with me all these years since 1961. I believe in God’s mercy that allows us an option to come into the Church Triumphant once we have been purified. Thank you for my living and loving God!
We shouldn’t be surprised at the numbers who do not accept this teaching. Many of those also do not accept the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and maybe some other truths that the Catechism teaches. Do not let those doubters become a waiver to affect our belief.
