What's the message?

     S.O.S. everyone. Planet Earth is crying out! The inhabitants here are confused. Can you hear it? It's everywhere. Our children are watching as the adults try to scramble for any kind of solution they can to make life easier for them. It's in the media, it's in music, it's in these wasted hours and money spent making miniseries in Hollywood. It's everywhere! 

     I pulled my car around in the line for takeout at Wendy's yesterday, only to have to see a stupid bumper sticker on the car ahead of me that read "keep abortion legal and safe". What's worse,  is it was on a van with a family in it. The male driving, was smoking a cigarette in the car, with the people still in it. The scenario gets worse. I hear him order enough drinks and food for children that made my heart so sad. My eyes kept glancing back and forth from the sticker to the people inside the van. My Hail Marys were so distracted by the sadness I felt when thinking that here are more people willing to promote evil, even knowing that their children might be watching. It's bad enough that the people inside the van believe in hate and murder but to let the world see it? Goes beyond, of what should be of God and a promotion towards love and life. I wanted so bad to jump out of my car and ask them to choose which child of theirs, that is already alive and well, would they want to abort. That's what they are promoting. So let them tell their choice for that. Choosing death and evil. The message is spreading like wildfire 

     I've heard stories from parents that they encourage and will provide the pill and day after pill to their children because they know they are sexually active. I realize this concept of growing up and hormones is natural and to be expected. Then why aren't they teaching children the value of celibacy. I wish someone would have taught me that when I was in school. I was never promiscuous but I was curious. I am not so old as to not know the value of Chastity and now that I am older, I want my grandchildren to understand that it's okay to say "no" and to respect their bodies whether they are boy or girl. It is becoming more and more challenging and will eventually become impossible if we as adults and parents and grandparents don't start this very minute. 

     Parents not wanting to deal with strict rules or inviting talks with their children, is a hindrance to accomplishing this feat. It needs to begin at home. Make the home a heaven or Haven on Earth again. Put interest into the beautiful jewels you have brought into this life with your love, and make the children your first priority by showing how respect is earned and gained by a loving openly communicated household. 

     Time goes by fast enough. You will see this. Make every second count. Rely on Jesus and Mary to guide you and you will not fail. What's in the message that your child sees? What's in the message you are promoting to this world? 

     S.O.S. the life preserver is on its way. Just ask.
