The Morning Light

Night is ending

Dawn is soon arriving

The moon is no where in sight

Just the stars twinkling bright

Soon the sky begins to turn

Colors begin to come alive and churn

Listen if you happen to head out

To the waking sounds of singing birds all about

Then suddenly it appears bright colors red purple blue and green

Across the landscape from where the sun will first be seen

Comes the beginning of the rise that will envelope the day

Morning has now arrived you could say

Soon the coldness of the dark will be gone

Gone until eve where it does belong

Feel the warmth of the rising sun’s rays

That creates another one of our Lord’s glorious days

Just as darkness is overcome by light’s brightness

So is the love our Father has for all of us

Turn to Jesus when your in the dark and gloom

And let His Light and His Love flood your special room

That room in your heart where His Spirit does reside

Ask for His guidance and let your baggage slide

For you will always be covered by the Blessed Trinity

So long as you follow the Words of Jesus Christ obediently

Amen
