The Purifier
Let There Be Light: Part One
Let there be light the Lord did say
And the sun appeared for the very first day
Along with darkness its only sibling
And its two cousins dawn and evening
On day two came the water and the sky
Both blue but one wet and one dry
Day three God made the land
The water began to wash up on the sand
Day three also brought vegetative life
Plants trees grass and flowers but no strife
How beautiful and how good
Just as God thought it should
Let there be stars twinkling in the sky at night
To fill the vast open dark with a little light
Daytime bright from the sun’s rays
Moonlight and starlight for what’s coming to gaze
Day four done
There is still more to come
Three more days to mark the week
God’s creation so strong not weak
Amen
