Seven loaves of bread and a few fish

A meal given from the King

A totally fulfilling dish

What was leftover from the meal today

That the one that fed thousands

Seven baskets full of leftovers you say

Wonder awe and amazement no doubt

Jesus and his miracles

Offered to all willing to hang about

The same can be and is oft true also for us

Miracles do occur and happen

To those who believe and ask Jesus

How many loaves of simple bread

Do we truly need

For us to be sufficiently fed

Just the one our Lord offers for us every single day

His Body His Blood in the Mass the Eucharist

To receive just attend and participate if you can daily

At the very least once a year you should receive

But to Mass every Sunday is required

To His Church now go and continue to believe

Amen
