Cursed Are You

A long time ago a phrase was uttered

From the Prophet Jeremiah sent by the Lord

Cursed are you who trust in man

Your hope will be as thrown into a garbage can

But Blessed is he who trusts in the Father

The Creator of all we can look no farther

For you can experience utter catastrophe

But with hope in Him safe from harm will you be

This message holds true not only today

But forever for all eternity

Do His Will be kind to and love others

That in itself will save you and offer a witness to your sisters and brothers

Do His Will trust in Him and pray

And Heaven too will be yours one day

Amen
