Vices and Sin

Pride it comes in many forms

Anger rage selfishness just some of the emotions

But one of the worst is jealousy

This is truly the opposite of humility

Since Original Sin entered society

All vices became the Devil’s priority

It began early on when man killed man

Over an offering to God did Abel die at the hands of Cain

The enigma concupiscence  is now with us constantly

But we can fight and overcome it if we pray

What we must do as people of the Lord

We must try to live virtuous and heed His Word

Diminishing our ego and self will

By listening and doing His Will always not just until

Then will we become more able to love everyone

And learn to avoid evil to walk away or to run

Learn to live in the Lord’s way

Trust in Him and always will you be joyful and happy

Amen
