The Ultimate Winners

Noah looked out of the ark

The dove had returned with a twig with bark

The flood waters receding

The earth was again breathing

The prophets heard and saw the path spiritually

Their eyes opened they had plenty to say

Salvation they offered on their trek each day

Telling all to there is a better Way

Jesus healed the blind and let them see

One recipient described people as like a walking tree

His sight was then made even clearer

By our Lord Who wants all nearer

The Apostles offered miracles as well

And their evangelization went quite well

They healed the deaf and mute even one who had died

They never complained they just listened and tried

Our job is also the same

To preach about He Who came

Jesus Who came to end death to heal ill and forgive sinners

Those who follow Him and heed His Word will one day become the ultimate winners
