The crisis is before our eyes, so open them wide and see. Did you know that there was 1,000 priests or more slaughtered in the camp of Dachau Germany? Our beloved Saint Maximilian Kolbe represents them as our saint of the cruelty in those camps, but there were many (priests) who died by the harsh means of beheading, hanging, firing squads and countless tortures by the hands of the Nazis. Priests, Jewish, Catholic, Christian priests all killed relentlessly on orders of a madman possessed with evil.
It's happening again. Only this time children and women are being recognized as victims also in the lands of The Middle East. Wiping out churches and homes and buildings that used to be called home. The war between Good and evil persists. But everyone, well not everyone, but a vast majority of people are turning a blind eye to this destruction. Just because it's not happening as severe in our homeland, doesn't mean it couldn't. Then when will your eyes be opened?
The tragedy Hitler and his minions prevailed on so many countries spread like wildfire and now we see it happening again in our own time. Relating similarly like the horrors we read in history books. There is a crisis and a very great need to pray as earnestly as ever before. It's inching its way to us, closer than you think. This war is between good and evil. The devil will not stop until his wrath has accumulated and annihilated all of God's people and creation, look at the pictures and reels you witness on The daily news. And remember I said "daily". Fathers holding and weeping mournfully, their children in their arms, dead from evil bombs that has destroyed the land they once called home. Children begging for food in the streets that are now rubble. Building after building toppled by heartlessness to a picture that reminds us of what the Apocalypse would look like. The population of Christians in the Middle East used to be 80%, now it has dwindled to a mere 12%. What more obvious observation do we need to see this is a war between Good and evil? That's not because of falling away from their faith that they died, but because of evil bombings and terror raged on the land that our Jesus Christ once walked upon. Israel is being attacked by allegations of Muslims who are still waiting for Jesus Christ to come. This statement itself is unbelievable. Pope Francis, even though in such a weakened state of health, put out a letter to all Catholic bishops about the unfairness of President Trump's order of the border policy. Calling it unfair and that it has nothing to do with criminality. What? There is a right way and a wrong way of doing things. Immigrants have been coming over to this land of America for years willing to abide by the rules of learning English and having a better opportunity for a better life which has been granted to them. The criminality that has been entering into America for many years because of evil government has been awakened by the realization of the war in the Middle East. Yes, unfortunately many have had to find opposition from stupid people who believe in control and unwillingness to help the needy or downtrodden or helpless, people who just would not accept them. But thankfully, the majority has. Those that oppose them had to be filled with evil in the first place, but there was enough and is enough good people with hearts of love that will truly accept them. This opposition will never end because of pride and the evils of the devil. But we as Christians/Catholics followers of Christ would never ever do it, that is to reject anyone needing a chance. Overcoming slavery and resistance of acceptance of someone of different color, Creed or nationality we have come together before and there is a great need to do it again. Granted, there is still a lot of ignorant people out there who try to take matters into their own hands. I believe President Trump is trying to regain this peace that the "land of the free", America used to possess. So much opposition from people who will not take off the blinders to see, that the only way to do things, is by following the rules. Rules that were given to us by God Himself in the Ten Commandments.
I can understand God's logic , seeing murder and slaughter right before our eyes isn't getting our attention, so then step two must come into place. Rain, snow, wildfires, environmental destruction should surely get our attention, right? I think it is, slowly.
God will never ever abandon us, but his patience is running thin. We must awaken from our sleep and return back to Him as our leader and our God. Praying that those who are waiting for Jesus Christ to still come may realize that He already has and He, our Jesus, with the Holy Spirit are Three in One.
Pray for Pope Francis. Pray he starts shepherding us the way he is supposed to. Teaching us more about what God wants and has taught us instead of what people want. No human being will ever be smarter than God and if we follow the world and it's empty promises all will be to our demise. Pray for the better discernment in the mind and words of Pope Francis who is responsible for many lives and Holy ways of acting. Sometimes it's not easy to hear the truth, but the truth sets us free. God is the Way and the Truth and the Life, The only voice we must listen to.
Pray for the Middle East. Pray for America. Pray for the world. We need God now more than ever. He will not let us down, ask the slaughtered Christians/Martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for us, for us to see that this war is a war between Good and evil and it is time for us to stand for God and nothing else.
