Birds of a feather
How many thoughts She had that only She and God knew. Those pure intimate thoughts that only Him and She possessed. The King and the Queen of Heaven. God and our beloved Mother Mary.
I often think about what She was thinking when She got the news of Her Son, Her Jesus, rising from the tomb. After such agony, a stream of roses to Her heart. I picture Her sitting in Her home with such elation in Her Holy Soul thinking "it is now complete". Her boy, Her son, has triumphed over sin and death. I'm sure this thought was the only thing that comforted Her in His absence for the long days to come.
What was She thinking as She saw Her sweet and Holy spouse, Joseph, lay dying? Surely, wouldn't She have pleaded to God to spare him, so She wouldn't be alone on Earth to raise this blessed child? Yet, She resigned Herself to God's Holy will and allowed Her Heart to give up, into God's Holy hands Her beloved Joseph.
Oh! The thoughts She must have been thinking when holding that precious baby, over steep terrain, riding that donkey to escape the evil of those that wanted to kill Him, Her precious Jesus. Watching Joseph, in his desperate need to find a place for them when the time was so near to the Holy birth. Looking down at Her Beloved baby after He was born and filled with such joy, such euphoria at the glory of God's promises.
All of those days and nights spent alone in Her home after our Lord's departure from this world and then get to see Him again in the upper room. Oh! Her thoughts of longing to see Him forever. Every day. In contemplation and surrender, being comforted by the Holy Angels of Heaven that was given to Her by God himself.
So many thoughts. So many hidden thoughts. So many hidden tears. So many hidden smiles filled within the Heart of Mary, our Mama, that was shared only between Her and our great God. In Her silence, She was crowned over and over again by God and His Holy Angels and Her beloved Son. The Holy Spirit filled Her Heart with the love that God and Jesus shared between each other intertwining with Her Heart. In Her silent thoughts She was comforted by Him who created Her for just this great purpose.
May the intimacy of my thoughts to God my Father, be ever as constant and pure as yours my Mother Mary. May I find peace, the way you did. Always trusting in the love God has for me and all who trust in Him.
