Planning to Listen

Jesus told us to love our enemy

Yes for those who hate and curse you pray

I know it really goes against the human way

We who are so selfish and want things now not yesterday

And He also said to give away your extra coat

In fact He implied empty out all that makes us bloat

He also said to remember the Golden Rule

Do unto others as you would to you

And when you lend and on good terms

Don’t expect it back no matter how much it burns

For your reward from Me stated our Savior

Will be far greater and so much better

Oh and judging and condemning on matters of conscious and heart

Stop He said time for it’s time now to look at yourself and be smart

Forgive all everyone no matter even if it’s murder

Don’t worry your Father knows all so forgive and you’ll live joyfully forever

Remember these directives come straight from God our Father in Heaven

I don’t know about you but I’m planning to listen
