Be Watchful

Jesus taught us not to notice a splinter someone else’s eye

Minuscule in size to the beam in ours oh my

Be watchful we must of what we do or say

For we might be guilty of hearsay or even heresy

Remember Jesus also said that a good tree does not bear rotten fruit

So be watchful when it’s your own horn that you oft toot

And that evil produces only evil never good

And good produces only good as it should

The Prophet Sirach too preached words like these

As did un unknown Prophet in Wisdom and  King Solomon in Ecclesiastes

Remember being smart is not always being wise

Be watchful for you too are being witnessed by His Eyes
