To the Ends of the Earth: Legacy – Catholic Men's Devotionals, Week 6 – Accountability Partners
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35
John’s Gospel speaks powerfully of how Jesus gives us himself in the Eucharist. He is the bread of life that came down from heaven. As Jesus offered his body and blood on the cross, so he offers his body and blood to us now in the Eucharist. Those who receive Christ need never hunger or thirst again. His is the imperishable food, the enduring nourishment, the eternal sustenance.
Strengthened by the Eucharist, we are empowered to go forth to love the world with the same constant love that we have experienced in Jesus. As we have been nourished, so too can we pour ourselves into the lives of others. There are so many who don’t see what they have been offered because they are too caught up in the empty, unsatisfying, and worthless offerings of the world. Our seat at the table in the Kingdom of God allows us to invite others to join in the heavenly feast.

What Scriptures can you share with the lost to help to point them to the One who can satisfy all their needs?
How can you share what the Eucharist brings to you with other men today?
Praying with Scripture
On this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of choice wines — of fat things full of marrow, of choice wines well refined. (Is 25:6)
