March 28 Showdown Looms: Kansas Catholics vs. Satanists
This coming March 28, the fourth Friday of Lent, Wichita area Catholics will be confronting a group that some believe is responsible for smashing glass, candles and a holy statue of their patron Saint.
St. Patrick Church, predominantly Latino parish situated in a working class neighborhood of North-Central Wichita, was broken into and vandalized on the morning of March 15.
The saint (Patrick) who drove the snakes out of Ireland sadly had his statue decapitated by a venomous hater.
The 23 year old vandal was arrested shortly after smashing glass doors and leaving behind a satanic message on the wall which included the website associated with a group which calls themselves, ‘Satanic Grotto’. This is the same group that will be performing a Satanic ‘black mass’ on the grounds of the Kansas State Capitol on March 28.
A black mass is an intentionally blasphemous parody of a Catholic Mass often using actual consecrated eucharistic Hosts stolen from unsuspecting eucharistic ministers at a local Catholic mass.
In a statement, the Archdiocese of Kansas in Kansas City said, “We are deeply disappointed that such blasphemous acts that are intended to mock Catholic worship, the beliefs of all Christians, and those who believe in the one true God, are being allowed on the Kansas Statehouse grounds.” The archdiocese says it’s exploring legal options.
Kansas governor, Laura Kelly (D) denounced the event but said she is obligated to protect freedom of expression. “There are more constructive ways to protest and express disagreements without insulting or denigrating sacred religious symbols,” Kelly said in a statement. “However, as governor, I also have a duty to protect protesters’ constitutional rights to freedom of speech and expression, regardless of how offensive or distasteful I might find the content to be.”
“The only purpose of a Black Mass is to attack God, mock the Catholic Mass, and desecrate the Holy Eucharist,” said John Horvat II, vice president of the American TFP.
“Satanists typically desecrate a stolen consecrated Host in unspeakable ways. Nothing is more obscene, indecent, and hateful.” American TFP will be arriving at the capitol an hour before (10:15 AM) the satanists begin with their blasphemy. They have arranged for a large group to protest the event in person.
At high noon on Friday, March 28, a showdown looms at the Kansas state capitol.
TFP (Tradition, Family and Property) is describing their planned protest as a peaceful rosary rally of reparation. The very Catholic Newman-Guide school, Benedictine College, is only an hour away from the state capitol. They have already been engaging in spiritual warfare by assaulting the evil plan with constant prayer. No word on whether they plan on showing up.
It’s just hard to believe that people will calmly stand by as their holy Eucharist is publicly desecrated. Hopefully we can get the event cancelled. The silver lining is that the desire that Satan has to desecrate the Eucharist stands as a reminder to all Catholics of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and that the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith remains the primary obstacle of the Evil One.
We Catholic have been building our spiritual muscles this Lent. Now it's time to flex them. Please sign the petition here to reject this anti-Catholic hateful provocation, offer the prayer below and share with fellow Catholics.
Prayer to stop black mass activity:
My dear loving Jesus, I come before you, just as I am, sinful and sorrowful for my sins and all of your children’s all over this chaotic world. I ask
you, my Lord, to come and hear this, my prayer, to stop this black mass. I ask mercy and forgiveness for these sinners who are committing this atrocity.
Mother Mary, Star of the Sea, I ask you to bring all the angels of heaven, to bring St Michael, St
Gabriel and St Raphael the archangels, all their troops of angels of heaven, to pray, to stop them
from having this black mass.
I ask this humble prayer of my heart, in conjunction with all of your faithful children who are praying
at this moment of this day and hour against this black mass. Amen.
Pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary, one Glory Be, then say...
Lord, I ask forgiveness for your children who perform these black masses throughout the
world. Amen.
Pray the Hail Holy Queen, then say...
Mother Mary, I ask you through the Precious Blood of Jesus, your loving Son, to stop this black mass.
Intercede to your Son Jesus. Amen.
