Abortionists; Beware the Scourge of Almighty God!
We are but a thought that God allowed us to join his eternity that never had a beginning!
It has always been a very deep mystery of all the shrouded truths regarding God, and it still will have us reaching into the deep recesses of our finite minds to discern how or what? We have always been taught to find the elements of anything we might investigate to reach a conclusion. If we find ourselves at an impasse our next step is to ask another person who may have the answer.
However, as Augustine discovered, solving the mystery of the Trinity proved to be just that, a mystery no one else had the answer to give him. This other mystery, just as hidden from the finite mind, is how God never had a beginning. The answer is easier because God is eternal. Explaining what eternal is about just look at what is available to the human conception of an endless anything.
We believe that God created the world according to his wisdom. It is not the product of any necessity whatsoever, nor of blind fate or chance. We believe that it proceeds from God’s will; he wanted to make his creatures share in his being, wisdom, and goodness: “For you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created,” Therefore the Psalmist exclaims,” O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all”; and The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.” (CCC 295).
This certainly does not even hint at how God always IS. So, let’s take the manner that can be used to find the origin of anything we use in life. Start by reversing the steps we discovered in a particular entity; we go back to when the progression changed from one period to the next. Then from there keep going back in time or progress and by this time you’ll realize you were going in a large circle and ended up back where you started. You’ll exclaim there is no valid understanding to this mystery. And so there is no logical explanation that a finite mind could coherently reason what the answer to God and no beginning can be ascertained. God always IS.
What is the positive conclusion of God is eternal response; we too will have no end to an eternal life with God, forever. Since eternity never began as we consider anything beginning, there can be no end since eternity just keeps on going in the present text of existence. God alway IS; as a constant presence of being. Therefore, God’s thought of creation always Is as well. And always is in an eternal state of being and us as well.
Easter, not too far away for this year, the Resurrection and Ascension of Christ returns this Son of God, the second person of the eternal Trinity, back to his original home which is eternal, as he awaits our own Resurrection to join him in a never-ending existence, which is eternal.
