Breaking bondages
Jesus's precious blood is a prescription for healing from the greatest doctor of all. God. That blood that He shed from the moment in Gethsemane to the piercing of His Precious Heart on the cross, fulfills all our ills. Every single drop that dwelt within our Lord, poured out. One has said it was 28,430 drops of blood. Cleansing us. Purifying and washing away the stench of sin and every created evil our God had created as good. In the beginning, is now and ever shall be. We are redeemed. His courage, His mercy, His love, redeemed all of mankind. Not shedding just a few drops, but all. Oh! What a gift from a God that is plentiful of Grace.
Mary, in Her heart, became part of the Passion in Her witness as the same blood that flowed from Her Son was mingled with Her own. All of Heaven mourned and then rejoiced. The Gates of Heaven were once again opened. Those that were once closed because of the sin of Adam and Eve, we're released free of the locks that remained tightly shut until this great feat of our Lord, Jesus Christ, surrendering Himself had opened. With much suffering, He did it. All in the name of His Father. Suffering the cruel death for us and all that came before us and will after us. It continues. He still sheds His Precious Blood for humanity. In every abortion, murder, sin of the flesh or any other act that desecrates our God and His Majesty. To forget this, would be a sin in itself. Forgetting that our Jesus did this memorable act for us. In our repentance, we must recall what He did and continues to do by that one Holy week and finally that Holy Good Friday. Our Easter would not be complete without this memory. That is why Easter is so joyous! Our God defeated death. Death for all of us. With every single drop of His blood.
