True Political Leadership Vs. False Political Leadership in America
INTRODUCTION
Greeting Catholic365 reader! I am glad you are on the website and reading my first article!
In my first article I am going to inform you about some personal information: my religious life; my writing; my writing for Catholic365; and my hopes for the future.
I will then conclude with a statement concerning what being Catholic means to me and wishing my readers well.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
My Religious Life
I had a spiritual conversion about 15 years ago. I came to know that God is love and that I must love God in return.
I have spent my time after this experience thinking about Jesus and his teachings. I have made a sincere and sustained effort to understand and live the Catholic life so that I may return love for love.
I was baptized early in my life. I believe that Jesus has authority over my life, even the parts in which I wasn't sincere and focused. So, that is 47 years of attention from our Lord going into the present moment.
My personal relationship with God is the foundation of my religious life.
My core religious principles are as follows:
· God is necessary for holiness, happiness, and health.
· Holiness, happiness, and health are attainable in thought, word, and deed in every present moment.
· Love involves truth, justice, unity, and obedience.
· There is truth. Truth can be known. It is up to the individual to know and accept truth.
· There is good and evil. There is a difference between good and evil. Good and evil are opposed to one another. There are causes and effects associated with good and evil.
My Writing
I promote truth through personal conviction.
I like to be focused on my purpose, simplicity, and readability. I like to inform, persuade, educate, and remind the reader about my purpose.
I enjoy exploring, describing, and explaining the world. I enjoy shaping the content in an intellectual way that is targeted, serious, and interesting.
My writing is for people of goodwill.
I have spent years developing my skills as a writer. Three styles of writing I am adept at are as follows: (1) general writing; (2) technical writing; and (3) targeted writing.
I know sharing my writing online is a privilege. I am committed to promoting an agenda that benefits life. I know the power and responsibility of writing.
I make an effort to make my writing clean, clear, and specific.
I want you to encounter me in my writing. You will see my analytical and research skills on display. You will see my personal qualities before your eyes.
I enjoy expressing myself through my writing. I enjoy motivating others through my writing.
My Writing for Catholic365
My writing for Catholic365 will focus on Jesus and his teachings. I will write about the Catholic Church, religion, politics, and life. I want to improve the life of the reader by helping that person encounter truth through my knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.
I will make a conscious effort to align my writing with the ideas of Catholic intellectual diversity, honesty, and discussion.
My first writings will be calls I am making for change. I’ve got 5 of these calls planned. I begin with a call for Pope Francis to resign.
I thought a good way to begin is to viscously and cruelly attack an old man who can’t defend himself. If I want to be the best I’ve got to beat the best!
Unfairly attacking the leader of my faith is just how I envisioned my conversion experience when I started returning love for love!
This call is different than the other calls.
The next 3 articles will be focused on change in liturgy. After that, change to the precepts of the Church.
So, that makes five. A very mundane and ordinary five articles.
These calls have been in my heart for some time. I am happy to share my opinion with you. I am hopeful my opinion will lead to productive change in the Church.
I am actually very thoughtful and communicate my ideas well, so there is nothing to fear. My content is interesting and worth the read.
I am proud of the substantive core contained in these calls.
I think Francis referred to this as “good trouble.”!
After these calls, I want to write about religion, politics, and life. I think I have high-quality ideas to share.
My writing fits well with the social media environment. It will create a buzz and a friendly summer breeze!
I am happy to interact with you in the online information superhighway! I fear not the online reaper!
My Hopes for the Future
Like every Catholic of goodwill, I hope for world peace. Since I am realist, I know I only have control over so much. This far and no further says the Lord!
I had to learn the lesson of balancing faith and reason. I am grateful that the Lord corrects those he loves.
I think the most valuable thing I learned in my life is that Jesus loves me. I am happy to share this knowledge in my writing with the reader.
I have come to know that it is truly the spirit of the law that sets us free. I agree with St. Paul that the letter of the law is a burden and leads to destruction.
I know I can only share what I have. I freely offer it to my readers. I offer it to my readers in the spirit of St. Paul.
I am happy to exist in a place of peace with Jesus, working towards an end that will satisfy. I want to journey with my readers to a place of understanding and wisdom.
CONCLUSION
In order for me to be Catholic I must be myself in the spirit of Christ. I must be Catholic throughout the year and every year. Anything more is “Hello punishment”. Anything less is “Goodbye life”.
May the peace of Jesus Christ be with us all in its fullest!
HAPPY JOURNEYING TO ALL MY READERS!
