Pray the Our Father

    I love all of the sweet prayers I pray. Those given to us by angels of Heaven, by our most Holy Mother Mary. But there is something truly special about the "Our Father". Taught to us by Jesus Christ Himself. Whenever I'm fearful, especially, I say the words "thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven", and it gives me such peace and surrender to whatever God's will is for me. 

   The "Our Father" contains all of the beliefs of what we are truly supposed to believe and trust in. Our little Creed. So as to say, from the start of acknowledging God as our Father, to the very last words that say "lead us not into temptation but deliver Us from evil". God knows us very well. He knows the temptations of this world. To doubt, to fear, the struggle of surrender, can overwhelm us. What a good Father He is. Making sure that we are guaranteed His help in any situation. Whether it be a positive answer to our prayers or the strength we will need to follow His will, courageously and without reservation. 

     Pray the "Our Father" often and see the miracle of Jesus talking to us, assuring us and comforting us always in the Holy name of Him who truly loves us.
