Do You Know Who You Are Keeping Company With?
The Future of our Children
Eileen Renders
We live in a world today where only the strong survive. By this, it is meant those who are strong in their faith and use their faith to choose right from wrong. We all must exercise our fundamental beliefs by protecting children, the elderly, and the disabled. God gave us free will to choose right from wrong. Some believe that the strong are those exercising their will over others, using their money, status, and influence to enforce their will on others.
We may not all be politicians, however, we can realize how important it is for us to turn away from bribery offers, lies, and false information. We can demand truth and equality when we partake in our right to vote. We do that by choosing the candidate best known for their experience, their associates, and what they stand for.
Although there is a separation between church and politics, we all must ensure that we do our part to maintain a healthy world where we care for the elderly, the disabled, our veterans, our children, and know that immigrants are those people best described as our parents, or grandparents.
Sometimes we may hear someone say, “What can I do, I am one person?” And this is why we must work together peacefully to protest what is not right and work as a team toward being seen and heard so that corrections will be instituted. Many Countries have monopolies of power, dictators, and conglomerate organizations taking advantage of our unfortunates. We have people in this generation now organizing a peaceful protest with signs, and without violence. They believe taking away jobs, halting USAID, and thousands of other jobs is not acceptable.
God gave us the ability to use our will to choose what is right. If your father taught you when you were a young child that the best person you can rely on in life is yourself, your father was a smart man. Let us always work together to protect our Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
