Born of the Spirit

Reborn at Baptism with the Holy Spirit

Given now to us by that Sacrament

The Apostles received Him as a flame

By Him the Lord and the Father they cured the ill and the lame

With Him we can do most anything

Provided it’s of the Lord’s wanting

Too we can use Him to stave off all evil

Yes call on The Holy Spirit to help ward off the Devil

The narrow path that seems to confound

Can almost always be located when you keep Him around

Remember He lives in your heart oh so quiet and gently

Calling for Him when you truly need or want Him is so easy

Holy Spirit Whom dwells in my heart

A problem I have please come help and be part

Show me and watch over me please on the way to the Father Almighty

This narrow path is hard please guide and lead me

Help me when I falter doing His Will

Let me get rest at night please keep my mind still

Oh Holy Spirit of my Lord Jesus

Keep watch over me my family the world yes all of us
