Owning

What do we really own

We say property whether outright or on loan

We say cars and furniture and other stuff

But in the great scheme isn’t it all just fluff

The first Christians shared with each other

Their land their food as if all were a sister or brother

There hope was the Jesus was coming sooner

God really owns all so why not share with those who had fewer

Striving for friendship and brotherly love

That’s what’ll get us to the Place up above

Sharing with those in dire need

This is how we should lead

Our Father created and creates everything that moves or is still

His only desire for us to love Him and do His Will

Sharing and caring with each other is also our way to fulfill
