Finding my Home in the Catholic Church: A Story of Personal Transformation
The Battle for America’s Soul
Why America Can’t Survive Without Returning to Her Catholic Roots
By Richard W. Horrell, Liberty Builders USA
America was not built by force.
She was built by faith.
Not a vague belief in a higher power,
but a specific, revealed truth:
That God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—grants rights.
That man is made in His image.
And that the family, rooted in marriage, is the cornerstone of civilization.
These truths, guarded and clarified by the Catholic Church for 2,000 years, laid the foundation for everything we now call “American liberty.”
But that foundation is under attack. Its forever under attack.
What We’re Seeing Is Not Random
Men in women’s sports.
Children undergoing irreversible transitions without parental consent.
Drag shows for minors.
Late-term abortions defended in the name of “choice.”
God pushed out of schools and public life.
These aren’t cultural fads.
They are signs of a deeper spiritual rebellion.
“You will be like God…” — Genesis 3:5
The original lie still echoes.
Today’s crisis is not about left vs. right.
It’s about truth vs. lies.
Freedom vs. bondage.
God vs. man pretending to play god.
A Rebellion Against Reality
The strategy is ancient:
Confuse minds – erase objective truth.
Break the home – remove parents as primary educators.
Eliminate God – and replace Him with government.
Redefine freedom – pleasure without limits or responsibility.
This is not compassion.
It’s chaos.
And the cost is our children’s souls.
Why Catholic Truth Still Matters
To understand America, we must understand the faith that shaped her.
Many Christians—especially our Protestant brothers and sisters—are beginning to realize that the Catholic Church is not the enemy of liberty, but its guardian.
Because it was the Church that first proclaimed:
That no man, no king, and no state stands higher than God.
That conscience is sacred.
That marriage and motherhood are not political positions—they are holy.
We do not claim to be perfect.
The Church is full of sinners.
But it teaches a truth that doesn’t change—because it didn’t originate in man.
We Are Not Fighting Against People—We Are Fighting For Them
This isn’t about condemnation.
It’s about clarity.
We don’t hate the confused—we mourn the confusion.
We don’t mock the lost—we pray they come home.
God loves everyone.
But He doesn’t rewrite truth to spare our feelings.
So What’s the Way Forward?
Not with violence.
Not with rage.
But with truth, courage, and love.
It starts by returning to what matters:
?? God. Family. Freedom.
In that order.
We must raise up men who lead,
women who defend the sacred,
and churches that refuse to stay silent.
If We Lose God, We Lose Everything
You may feel alone.
You’re not.
Truth is never outnumbered.
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray… I will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
Let it begin with us.
Let it begin now.
And let it build liberty—not just for our time, but for generations to come.
