Do Not Be Afraid
True Food
You are what you eat
Not what you gather with hands and feet
But what you gain from all around
From the sky and mountains to all on the ground
You are what you consume everyday
Not the fast foot off the highway
Nor the victuals from your kitchen table
But what you glean from reading a tale or a fable
You are what you learn read and hear
So maybe heed Jesus and return to prayer
Read His Words written so neat and tidy
In a book called the Bible truly mighty
Listen to music sacred and biblical
Read and watch truly wholesome material
Avoid society’s secular world
Turn instead to our Lord’s Word
You are what pickup and gather
Hanging with our Lord versus the devil I’d rather
Head to Church every Sunday to be truly fed
And feed yourself with prayer daily morning noon and before bed
Amen
