Christians need to go against the culture, not with it

So, if y'all don't know, A LOT of autistic people struggle with anxiety. I am hardly unique in this. And I know a lot of people say “go to the Bible”, and then quote a verse out of context. It's easy for a lot of people to say “have no anxiety”. I honestly think some people think anxiety is a sin. If it is, this means Jesus sinned, because sweating blood is a sign of anxiety (Luke 22:44).
But, I think a more important thing is when we're told to rejoice. It's not so much that we shouldn't have no anxiety ever, it's that rejoicing is more important.
It's not always easy to rejoice when it seems like everything is going badly, but, look, sometimes, the best thing to do is what you might think is the hardest.
It's easy to thank God when every thing is going well.
Try doing it when everything is going bad.
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, Rejoice. Let all men know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-8)
