My Unbelief

When I see the beauty of the dawn

The dew droplets glistening on the lawn

Do I truly remember what and why I see

Do I fully grasp each morning it’s all and only because of He

I can do nothing without You Lord

Wrote John about the Living Word

All we see hear taste touch and smell

All from You Father but do our senses tell

The Apostles were the last of the miracle healers

The Spirit’s gift to help start the Church with believers

Now in this age we must rely on faith and trust

Our Lord has said this we must

Jesus lost many with His discourse of life

With the Pharisees they created much strife

Would I have walked out on Him too

Sometimes I ponder what would I do

Where does my belief stand today

Do I consistently and thoughtfully every day pray

Do I thank my Savior and Lord for all creation

Do I truly believe trust and want to live in Heaven
