How Christ Gets People Out of Debt

There are two virtues which Christ attributes to His Heart: these are humility and meekness. Humility is from the mud and denotes His human nature, by which He is capable of suffering passion, death, and change. This does not contradict His godhood, by which He is unchangeable. We must say then that His human nature is added to Him and whatever it suffers in time, is never changed in eternity. This becomes a proof for the Immaculate Conception by the Franciscan thesis that says He would have always entered the world even if Adam had never sinned.

Meekness, then, is His unchangeability. It guards the interior life by interpreting all things under the Will of God as good for it and moreso for the glory of God. Humility is the safest virtue, and Meekness is its safety, by which we mount, step by step, towards Charity and all the rest, without dangerously flying aloft as St. Teresa says. Men do this very often for Justice, as an example, and become angry enough to lose their souls.

Meekness is what guards a man from the world by interpreting it under God’s Will. It is the reason for Joseph’s silence. It is the proper understanding of the souls which we cannot see but should desire to know.

There is a way for a man to speak and yet not to speak, to listen and hear only God, to conquer souls for Charity and unite them in happiness, the fount of concord and miracle against all distress. This is Meekness. To desire no victory but that which all men can celebrate, this is Meekness. If the world of demons desires to disturb and distract, then Meekness is the antidote granting tranquility, a table set before my enemies. It is then my primary weapon to defeat usury.

If we defeat this enemy, the plunder shall be wonderful. If we strike down this spottled tree, we all shall find the sweet shade unbroken under the holy mountain. If we topple this great idol, no man shall be ravished by the lions again, nor burnt in the fire, nor displayed to shame amongst the masses, naked.

The reason is this: money is not controllable. It abandons everyone at some point. To take it and move it so fast that everyone has a covering at some time, is to make everyone naked and disgraced together. We all are poor. Even the usurer is likely in his grave by now. No one will fail to benefit by burning this worthless covering.

Usury is the sin which robs the poor of their necessary cloak and promises it back to him after a month of timely payments, without having guilt, because a contract was signed. An understanding of history will show horrendous and unimaginable schemes perpetrated of this manner four hundred years ago, and everything else built upon that. A philosopher has said that if one loan was paid back, taken out by the English king in the 1600s, then the entire world economy will collapse. Because of this, we all cannot take any shelter in paper or digital money, which decreases in value faster than our ability to increase our income, even if we have no loans taken out. The occasional victors in this mad contest spend the rest of their lives anxiously attempting to shore up the eroding soil of their secure independence.

There are a thousand solutions to this problem, and I know many of them. Unity is essential, it is created through communication, which is promoted with the virtue of Meekness. Since usury is this way: a crime against all humanity making them poor and naked in the cold for the enrichment of men dead four hundred years ago, then we all can agree that this is a problem to be solved, and through love of neighbor (even if that neighbor is murdering children in ignorance or with malice, is eroding the faith through false teaching, is promoting the destruction of human reason through exotic substances, etcetera, and to include all other controversy under the sun which divides this flock of sheep called humanity being eaten alive by the ghosts of only a few wolves), we can solve this problem. Everything else which offends men will be solved afterwards. All the justice which is the subject of our hunger and thirst will be satisfied.
