What is that you are worshipping

That wonderful and brilliant diamond ring

What is that you are adoring

That wonderful brisket slowly smoking

What is that your fighting about

A political statement is that why you shout

Why do you want to shop everyday

For worthless items so much do you pay

How much money how much can I make

I doesn’t matter w here I die that I can’t take

Look it’s my job I have to finish today

You and the kids wait I have no time to play

Lord you know it’s Sunday

But  golf with the guys I have to today

Father what do you mean I can’t come in

What do You mean ignorance is no excuse for my sin

I want to please please please let me

What do you mean Heaven I won’t see

No no not you Lucifer you are so evil

Wait what do you mean I too am now a devil

When we worship idols instead of our Lord

Watching the boob tube not reading His Word

Skipping Mass for our own worldly pleasure

Know for eternity we risk never gaining His Treasure
