Who Wrote the Book of Hebrews?

The ecumenical council of Trent teaches that saint Paul wrote the epistle to the Hebrews: "...fourteen epistles of Paul the apostle, (one) to the Romans, two to the Corinthians, (one) to the Galatians, to the Ephesians, to the Philippians, to the Colossians, two to the Thessalonians, two to Timothy, (one) to Titus, to Philemon, to the Hebrews..." Here, we see that Hebrews is included in the "fourteen epistles of Paul." Thus, the Church teaches that saint Paul wrote Hebrews.
