I’m a woman who is stretching, learning more about herself, and growing in her Catholic Faith and having a closer relationship with God. One day, I was working on my computer. I was deleting files that I didn’t need. I came upon this document and when I opened the file, I had all these compliments and praises that I have saved all these years from former teachers and employers and after reading these, it brought a smile to my face. These are excellent reminders that have helped me along the way and can help you too!
God bless and peace to you all.
- I took a theater class and remember seeing a sign saying: Be Yourself. Everyone else is taken!
- “Great job! You are really learning to work yourself through the mental and emotional challenges that come up for you. Giving yourself the right messages is so important…and remembering your history too. It also never helps to have a few good people behind you for that extra support.”
- “We all go through different phases of self-growth and development, which is fantastic, because I feel this, is usually self-betterment, to step back and evaluate your life. Embrace your own power!”
- “I look forward to hearing more about your success both in college and in your chosen profession.”
- “Thank you for bringing your unique style and perspective to the panel. The audience loved you! (Of course.)”
- “Continue having confidence in yourself! You can do it and you work hard to ensure you produce good work.”
- “Thanks for all your help! You are always very accommodating!”
- “Always do the very best that you can and do not let people make you feel uncomfortable. Take care. I am keeping you in my prayers. Know that God only allows so much and never gives us more than we can bear.”
- “You are an intelligent, lovely woman. It’s great that you’re appreciated at work.”
- “Remember friends help one another. Everyone needs someone to talk to. Later you will look back over this crisis in your life and will be use it for strength at a later time. Everyone goes through tough times in their lives and have to ask others for advice and comfort. Trust in God and he will give you the right answer. I will continue to pray with and for you. He will work it out, trust in him and ask him for guidance and strength.”
- “Praying for each other is more effective. Gods wants us to pray for somebody not always praying for our own self. God the Father, wants us to listen to him and obey him. I’ll be praying for you.”
- “You are a great role model and are becoming better at communicating your thoughts and feelings all the time.”
- “You're a strong and talented woman! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! You will go far in your life count on that. Keep up your hard work this semester!”
- “I know that you will be able to reach your short and long term goals with your work ethic. Don’t sell yourself short though, you are capable of doing SO MUCH MORE than just administrative work here at the school. Trust me, aim higher, much higher!”
- “It is so awesome to have you do a self-report like this. Your positive outlook and enthusiasm really show here. I see you as integrating all the various skills and abilities you have innately and that you have gained over the past year. You are taking advantage of your resources and applying what you have learned. I am so impressed and thrilled for you. I really appreciate you sharing this with me. It uplifted my day! I hope you will keep in close touch in the future, and any time I can be of service, please let me know.”
- “Always remember that nothing is impossible if you give it your very best; after all everyone started at some point in time.”
- “I want to thank you for taking the time to come to the Self-Advocacy Class.”
- “It was generous of you to take time out of your busy schedule to share your experiences with others. I appreciate it very much.”
- “It is true that they say the most important part of any job is the people you work with.”
- “WHY! I know that you know better and that you are competent enough to bounce back from personal disaster. Life is not a walk in the park and you know that. Take your time. Enjoy your space. Until then, take care and be sensible.”
- “Moreover, remember to be patient, conscience and strive to be all you can be. Everything happens for a reason; therefore, think good things and it will happen. Continued success and have a FANTASTIC day!”
- “Know that God is everywhere, knows everything and will assist us. The bible said to ask God for his blessings and he will pour out blessings that we cannot receive. Please also keep me in prayer. I am asking God for guidance on several issues. Have a great day!”
- “Stay positive and know that God is able to have your contract extended or to give you a new job with comparable or better benefits. What I like about you is that you are proactive. You have signed up for classes and are moving on. Stay positive and believe that God is able. Have a great day and stay in touch.”
- “I wish you the best with finding meaningful and fun work.”
