Gifts

     Leave it to God to send gifts. The Holy Spirit dwells within each of us. At our Baptisms, we first encountered that Love. Then being Confirmed,. We complete it. Seven beautiful gifts sent from above. From the Holy Throne of God, where Jesus Christ sits beside Him. Then in "Total Union", "above" them, the Holy Spirit dwells. The awesome Love of a Father to His child, created something beyond all of our understanding. 

     This Spirit is so magnificent in its being, it can "create" for us, all that we need to attain Heaven. Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord. Seven Blessed gifts. For free. But I guess really, not entirely. We cannot take away the fact that there was a price to be paid for these gifts. The Precious Blood of God Himself, in the form of a human being. A Divine human being. His son, our Lord Jesus Christ. With the Holy Spirit completing that Sacrificial and binding Love.

     How ultimately Significant is the Precious Blood shed for these Gifts. What pain, sorrow, and cruelty achieved that day. With the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross, gaining our Salvation.

     Salvation. The top starter at the top of the list, with the Seven gifts to follow. Asking the Spirit to come alive within our souls, within our very being, is just waiting for the unleashing. We would only ask. Ask and you shall receive. Seek Him daily,. That, who dwells within us.

     We all love giving gifts and feeling that "vibe of joy". The Holy Spirit is a million times more elated to give these gifts and make them shine more than we could ever imagine. 

     We must pray to the Holy Spirit daily. Never forgetting that we have yet another friend. Another Comfort. Another Peace. Another Path. That each of the Seven Gifts that He is willing to give, will but satisfy our souls. Therefore, living Christlike. Talking Christlike, and being Christlike, is the goal of our Holy Spirit.

      Oh! What a joyous solace.....
