Prayer is Not Hard

Fire yellow blue and red

Without oxygen it is dead

Fire too the Holy Spirit

Truly dead are we that are without

As air provides power for reality’s fire

We turn to prayer for Holy Spirit to inspire

Combustibles include for fire wood

For the other The Son’s True Spoken Word

Today we celebrate His initial appearance

To the Apostles in a locked room  a truly amazing performance

Yes today we celebrate the feast of Pentecost

Remembering that without the Holy Ghost we are lost

So dress up in red to honor our Lord

Call on Him always especially when you’re busy or bored

Do His Bidding and you’ll obtain your reward

To be with the Father forever in Heaven for prayer is not hard
