The 3:00 Hour
Tony, Tony look around, something's lost that must be found! The great Saint remembered for finding lost articles. That also pertains to Lost Souls. My mother instilled in us the great devotion to yet another great Saint. He is my beloved friend. Whenever I have called on him to help me find a parking space, shoes or anything I just couldn't find, I have asked him for his help and he comes swiftly. In my anxiousness to find the lost articles, sometimes it has taken a little more time, but my persistence in asking him, comes promptly.
I learned today he was a sickly man, carrying this burden yet prevailing with the love and mercy of God. He came to know Saint Francis of Assisi as a dear friend. He taught those around him to love God with all their might and to believe in His Mercy.
Today is his feast day. We remember yet another of God's Holy servants who gained a crown for his loyal and faith filled service. The inspiration of these Holy ones gives us direction and hope for our own lives. Leading us on the path to our Jesus's Open arms where he will greet "us" and say the words, "Welcome, my good and faithful servant!"
St Anthony of Padua, pray for us.
