Don't make Him go away
God, is our Light and our Salvation. If He is for us, then who can be against us? These sweet responses assures that we can do all things in God and God alone. He is mighty and powerful. He is gentle and merciful. He can calm the raging Waters of the Seas, and He can show us the way to the Heavenly Kingdom in the presence of a gentle wind. Once again I stress "trust". I write these words for myself as well as others. Reminding myself, over and over, that "I" His lowly servant have no power, no control, unless He grants that to me.
Where should we go if not to Him? He is all knowledge, all Wisdom, all Power. The only God that ever was, is, and ever will be. Our struggles and temptations are not unseen by Him who allows everything by His command.
Our generational curses or trials must be placed before the High Court of the Throne of God. We must surrender our families, our ancestors, to the only Doctor who has the cure. The One who reigns in Heaven.
When we say we believe in God, we are vowing to trust Him. In all things, no matter how scary or hard or small they can be. He wants our trust. He wants to be our God. Our Father. Our ancestors went through many trials and hardships the same as we do. We can help release them by our prayers and sacrifices. That is how merciful God is. He does not want anyone to be lost. We must choose the right way. His way. He suffered so much for this right. Proving to us how much He truly loves us. We must give Him all of our love and honor and be His obeying children. With every wound that He received, every scourge that whipped His body, must be honored. Must be remembered. With great respect. The soldier at the foot of the cross knew this. Herod knew it. Pilate knew it. Adam and Eve knew it. These are our ancestors. The stories of our past. Our ancestors from the beginning of time. Many more were there. Many who chose darkness instead of light. Who chose themselves instead of God. We must stop crucifying Him and start lifting Him up. That is by turning to Him that we achieve Peace and Mercy for our Soul and all Souls.
Where shall we go if not to Him? There is nowhere to go...and that is a fact.
I believe Jesus fell on the way to His crucifixion more than three times. The significance of the three falls were met with meaningful events of those moments. But remember, the cross was heavy. It bore every sin from the beginning of time to the present and then to the future. Not turning to this image is a disgrace on our parts because we also united with these sufferings that God bore, because of our sins.
Part of our atonement should be turning our gaze upon the One who truly loves us. That One, is our Heavenly Father, our God, our Jesus.
