I'm a Jesus freak

     I'm a "Jesus freak". I guess so was Saint Peter, St Paul, all of Jesus's Disciples, our Blessed Mother Mary, St Joseph, and many many more who reside in Heaven. So, therefore, I want to be a "Jesus freak" too. 

     Definition of "Jesus freak". "A word to describe someone deeply devoted to Christianity, particularly that , which is associated with Jesus Christ". There was a movement in the late 1960s, early Seventies. It's concept to reject materialism and traditionalism could have been so great! But, one thing, in my belief, strayed away from the greatness the movement could have become. Traditionalism to the Degree the Catholic Church places her in must be kept. If not only for the great and true teachings Jesus Christ Himself gave us which were, His Tradition. They must not be disregarded. So, I'm turning the phrase into a meaning just for me. I am a Jesus freak. Everything that has to do with Jesus I adore. His beliefs, His works, His teachings, His words. I am a freak for Jesus. I promise to follow Him. Even though I may stumble regularly and have to pick myself up and try my hardest to walk in His footsteps again and again. My Traditional teachings have taught me how to Respect, Love, Honor and Obey the Way of Jesus Christ. Even though I walk in the dark valley, I will fear no evil, because He stands right beside me. You have proven this so many times in my life. His rod and His staff to guide me through the weedy, thorny patches that may arise in my life. There have been many. I believe Lord, strengthen my belief! Let my armor be Your Word, the Covenant, that You promised so long ago, to never abandon me or those who love you. You are a great and awesome God and I am proud to be called a Jesus freak.
