The Wolf in Sheep Clothes

I saw a farm yesterday

Pigs chickens goats donkeys and cows at play

The grass was there for some to feed

Others a helping hand from the rancher they need

There were trees and clouds a rooster calling

A pond with fish and frogs and ducks a swimming

The air felt nice it was all so peaceful

Made by our Lord so unbelievably beautiful

This is the world that our Lord gave us

Not the one with online savings

Allowed He did for us to build it

And the Devil to get all wrapped in it

But maybe it’s time to see the wolf in sheep’s clothes

Hiding beneath our electronic folds

Maybe it is time to put down our phones

And head outside for some nature zones

Hear smell feel and taste what God made for us

Read and heed the Words of His Son Jesus

Ask for The Holy Spirit to help and guide you

Onward and forward to what is truly true

Our Father’s love for everyone

A love that will outlast even the sun

Give up your desires and dreams your ego

For Heaven with Him awaits today not tomorrow
