Lenten laxity vs Lenten lenience vs Lenten legalism

So, last week, I talked about how “it's hot”(See here, please read it; It's hot). Well, the temperature is still hot, but, we've had some rain, and it's cooled down a little. It is, however, much more humid. My normally straight hair has become somewhat of a puffball.
Anyway, y'all, so, I talked about death being a relief from heat (Yay! What a cheery topic)!
So, I feel like I should probably talk about the other side of that.
Alright, let's get started,
“And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues, and they repented not to give him glory”. (Revelation 16:7-9).
Okay, because of the KJV style English (for longer quotes, I tend to use copyright free versions of the Bible, so, yes, I am Catholic and use a Protestant Bible, I also use Catholic Bibles), this might be difficult to understand.
Now, this chapter deal particularly with the vials of God's wrath, but, I want to focus on one verse in particular. In v. 9, notice “they repented not”. These are people who are being punished for not giving God the glory. And they're punished for it. Now, this doesn't prove the concept of hell (the fact that Jesus talks about hell...a lot...does, and please stop telling me gehenna isn't hell, it is. It's a matter of translation).
Anyway, while the faithful WILL undergo persecution (Matthew 24:13), it's important to remember WHO the vials of God's wrath are for in Revelation 16.
And, so, I end you with something that is literally hotter than hell in the back of Revelation
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:14-15).
