The day after
Ever made a decision that didn't feel quite right or pan out the way you thought it should? When in doubt, pray. Always conclude your prayer with, "God's will be done, not mine". This "Amen" assures us that God will work it out to its "best resolution". The advantage of this, resigns our will to His. He who is the "Master" of all decisions. It lifts the burden of worry and stress of immediate reaction and alleviates the yoke, which we are asked by Him, to remove from our shoulders onto His. Doubt is a subconscious feeling of unrest in our minds and our souls. It is a warning to think again, real hard, at the choice we derive from wanting or thinking we want this supplication answered immediately. When in doubt, keep praying. Prayer is powerful. No matter how long the trial. No matter the hesitation of relief. It is being heard. There may be other factors in "our" lives that must be done first in order for us to see clearly. To be heard clearly. Maybe there is something in "our" lives that needs attention to change also. We ask God for favors acting like it's a magic wand to our command. I really don't think God works that way and that He doesn't consider our own lives in the situation also. He sees our every move, hears our every word, looking deep inside. Often we don't know what is best and take it as unworthiness for not being heard. When in doubt, keep praying. The answer (s) will come clear as crystal and we will be glad He took the reins.
If we keep comparing ourselves to the Almighty, our chances of our lives turning out well will diminish and what was a molehill, can become a mountain. Pray, hope and don't worry. And when in doubt, pray some more.
