Are We Related?
ARE WE RELATED?

You and I are all sisters and brothers.
Although we do have separate mothers.
Yet, we were all created by the same heavenly Father.
As children, we often feel jealous of one another, competitive, and criticize.
Many years must pass before we mature and come to realize;
In individual ways, our Father passed down special gifts we have not earned.
Today, when we gather together, we appreciate our differences, and for our Father,
Our hearts burn.
Each of God’s children is given “special gifts” to take and to share,
We now understand, our Father watches from above, inspiring us to love one another.
And to show how much we care.
For it is only with humility, compassion, and wisdom, we accept we do not desire to be first.
As our Father has said, “Let the first be last, and the last shall be first.”
