Drying the Tears of Mary
Do you have one? Do you know about this Rich Treasure that is among you that is so prominent and available everywhere? Well, if you aren't visiting the Blessed Sacrament in your Church, or really, any Catholic Church, you should. It is a gift left behind just for me and you. There is such Peace. So much Comfort. You feel Jesus's presence. Your Guardian Angel is so grateful for the time you allow him to accompany you. Your heart and mind is enriched with the Holiness that lies within that Sacred Host and Tabernacle. Our Jesus is so patient. He waits silently. He waits, and waits and waits for us unceasingly. The best part is, He waits with open arms. Ready to listen to every word we say. Talking to us like our best friend would. Instructing and comforting us when we feel there is no other place to turn or no one else to talk to. Always giving us time to tell Him that we love Him with the knowledge that He is listening and attentive to us and telling us that He loves us too.
We don't always have to talk to Him. Lots of times our silence brings "His" words to our hearts and minds. We just have to listen. His words are as peaceful as a Country Spring flowing through a valley and maybe other times, as fierce as a raging river in a Canyon. But with whatever tone He sets, you will know it's Him, because of the peaceful rest your soul feels when retrieving His voice. He is not pushy. Unlike the evil one who keeps bashing and gnawing at you with unrest. God's words are calm. They are informative and directing and loving. You can feel the difference. You just have to be in total surrender to the one who "really " loves you. Jesus. It's a beautiful thing.
Anytime you have the opportunity, or needing an answer to something or even just to treat yourself to the real Peace and Presence of God, go visit the Blessed Sacrament in any Catholic Church. The response will be great from the heavens and your life will gain the courage and love you seek.
May God be all praised in the most Holy Blessed Sacrament. In Heaven, on Earth and Everywhere.
If not for an hour, but only a moment, give yourself this gift given freely by our God who is waiting and loves us so much.
