Say It
I walked in silence, heavy and slow,
With guilt inside, too much to show.
The world saw smiles, but my heart knew,
The burden of sins long overdue.
As I knelt down, my soul set free,
In this moment of confession, it’s just God and me.
The words were hard, the truth was bare,
Each sin a scar, but I laid them there.
Regret spilled out in whispers low,
A prayer for grace began to grow.
Tears fell gently, like drops at sea,
In this moment of penance, it’s just God and me.
Forgiveness came like the morning light,
Chasing away the darkest night.
The weight was gone, my heart was clear,
God’s mercy had drawn me near.
I rose with peace, my spirit free,
In this moment of redemption, it’s just God and me.
Now I walk with a lighter soul,
Each step closer to my goal.
Confession taught me what’s true and right,
To live in love and walk in His light.
Each time I fall, I’ll return to see,
In every moment of grace, it’s just God and me.
