The Chain of Virtue
Introduction
Today there is a confusion in politics. People believe they are doing good. But just because a person believes or a group of persons believe something does not make it true.
We need people in politics who actually do good. Belief is not enough. Belief needs to be integrated to truth.
There is a real consequence to not living in the truth. There is a certain way to be united to the truth.
America is currently not united to the truth.
It is urgent for America to be brought into one with the truth. The longer it takes to be united to the truth, the worse the consequence to not living in the truth.
The path to separation from the truth is paved with good intentions. America is currently paving its own path of separation from the truth with good intentions. Only good leadership can stop America from destroying America.
The Problem of Confusion
The problem of confusion in politics is widespread and deep. The problem exists inside and outside of the government and knows no boundary by party.
The problem of confusion is so deep that effective governance is not possible. What is good remains hidden from those in the highest positions of power. They believe they know everything and are effective decisionmakers and defenders of truth.
The problem of confusion is so deep that true accountability is not possible. Ordinary people interested in politics do not know what is good. They can’t hold the government accountable.
The problem of confusion is so deep that neither party is addressing it. The problem is spiritual and can only be solved by spiritual means. A spiritual awakening is the only hope for America.
The Way of Clarity
Real politics is about a government effectively using its power to secure the welfare of the individual and public. Real politics is not about using power for perceived self-advantage to push an agenda.
Real politics is about doing what is good. Good can only be done through love. Thus, for real politics to take place love is needed.
Only people who love can effectively use governmental power to secure the welfare of the individual and public.
What is good is not open to debate. Good is good. An absence of good is evil. There are real standards associated with being good.
Good and love are spiritual principles that bring life. The spiritual always animates the physical. We need people who know these spiritual principles in truth to lead.
Conclusion
There is a war going on, and in many cases, only one side is fighting. America has been beaten down to the ground. I believe that it is by God’s grace that America will not be beaten underground. America needs to get up. America will only get up if it is lifted.
We need people who are capable of lifting America up.
We need people who do good in the highest positions of power in government. We thus need people who love in the highest positions of power in government.
We need ordinary people to be educated in truth about good and love. Ordinary people need to be able to make informed decisions---and that means knowing truth.
We need people in both parties to rise above partisanship in truth and be people of good and love.
We need people who can make a clear path for others to follow. This path must lead to truth and must be paved with good done through love.
If we do not get leaders who actually do good, we will find ourselves being punished. Punishment can take various forms, for example, a natural disaster, a terrorist act, or an economic disruption. Punishment involves suffering---this means spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical suffering. If America does not change, it should suffer.
