Roses
Every morning you rise, make the Sign of the Cross and tell Jesus "thank you". It's a new day! Another chance to try. Another gift from God. He waits for us to praise Him, to love Him, to give Him thanks. No matter if we meet the new day with clouds in the sky or the sun shining brightly, it is an opportunity to tell Him "hello" and "thank you"and ask Him to walk with you in this new beginning. He's waiting with open arms.
No matter the struggles we are facing or the uncertainty of this new day, we can be assured that this beloved Father, is standing before us, ready and willing to show us the way. But we must first "thank" Him with all of our hearts for sparing us, for loving us, for creating us and of gifts and blessings received. Many people do not realize this "Rich Treasure" that lies before each and every one of us. How sad.... The fruits that await each of us with just two words spoken from the heart. Thank you.
How many times, unaware of the perils that could have been. The sharp turns our souls could have taken in temptation. The waste of time and neglect, our Lord has seen us through. We've been taught, or should have been taught, to say "thank you" for all gifts. The new day, the new morning, is a gift. The sign of the cross seals our Thanksgiving. We gather at the table every Thanksgiving in remembrance of a day so long ago when people came together in unity. Let us celebrate Thanksgiving daily because of our unity with God.
In the stillness of the morning where there are no demands prevailing, no other voices are heard other than yours and God's, "thank" Him with all your heart and give Him back the richness of the moment that He so tenderly gives.
Thank you my Lord, thank you.
