The circle of protection

     We can help protect our loved ones, our children, the world, with our prayers. A circle of protection encircles us, like an invisible light ready to fight off the forces of evil. Our Blessed Mother Marys Holy Mantle drapes over us as we ask Her for Her protection. Loving arms of the Sacred Heart of Jesus holds us tight as we face each new day. The Holy Saints watch over us when we ask them to intercede for our petitions. If our eyes could behold the wonders of Our God we would be awestruck. It happens at the Mass. When we close our eyes in full resignation to God's Holy will. When our children or grandchildren are in dire need of protection and help. There is a circle of protection that encamps around us and them. Stronger than any mighty wall. Forceful and emanating a strong barrier against all evil, temptation and darkness of soul. I imagine it to look like how a ring around the Moon looks at night. Glowing and glistening with a brightness that emits twinkles of different colors. I believe it to be beautiful. Not merely in the fact that it is yet another sign of God's great love for us, but also, of proof, we remain in His circle of Friends.
