Matthew Speaking to Christ about His return

Many are observing world tragedies, watching Videos of people professing to know that we are in the End Times. When Matthew and a few of the disciples followed Jesus up the Mount of Olives, they were eager to question Jesus. Matthew asked Jesus, “When will all of these signs happen?” Jesus replied, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Jesus continued, “Many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Much of what Jesus relayed to the Apostles can be found in Chapter 24.

Jesus said there would be wars, rumours of wars, famine, and pestilences. Do not be troubled, as it is not the end yet. For nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, there will be earthquakes, and all these are just the beginning of sorrows. Many will be handed up and killed, you shall be hated of all nations for my name’ sake.  Many of us, however, will not live to be present when Jesus returns. Jesus wants us to prepare and always be ready, as no one knows the day or the hour, but the Father in Heaven.

Matthew 24:44 Jesus said, “Therefore, be ye ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Matthew 24:45 Jesus spoke, “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?”

Matthew 24:48 Jesus warned, saying, “But if that evil servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

Matthew 24:49 Jesus continued, “And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Matthew 24:51 continued, “And shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The four most important pieces Jesus gives to us are as follows;

1.     No one knows the day or the hour hen Jesus will return but the Father in heaven

2.     It is very possible, most of us will have already deceased before Jesus returns.

3.     Do not be deceived by false God’s showing powerful acts, when Jesus comes, He will come from the East with all His angels, and we will hear the sound of a trumpet.

4.     Prepare for each day as though it is the last. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. And always be a faithful loving servant.
